Solvang newborn photos

Hi gang! Today on the blog you get to meet a sweet baby girl, who is the 2nd child after a nine year gap. Mom and Dad are relearning how to care for their newborn, while big sister is happy to help! She was a thrilled to help style the session and to get in some of the photos. She chose our stunning new blue set for baby. Big sister also wore a gown from our client closet for her photographs with baby sister. These Solvang newborn photos took place at my studio and I was able to capture some of my favorite images to date!

I loved that we included some blues and pinks and matching floral headbands in this shoot, because floral headbands are my favorite for little girls. We have a variety of headbands in our studio for you to chose from. We also have almost any color you can think of to photograph your baby! I like to use mostly monochromatic sets with different shades of the same color. I find it gives the images and gallery a cohesive look. As you can see we have some soft blush pinks with mauve pinks in the headbands and little bear. Headband by Baby Bliss Props. Fabrics from Freebird Prop Shoppe. They are my go to shop for newborn fabrics and wraps. The wraps are so stretchy that baby get comfortable right away! Shush!! Don’t tell anyone, that’s one of my sleepy baby tips.

Not to mention, it total helps to have such a photogenic baby in front of the camera! Umm… can you say baby model? That face and all that beautiful black hair!
