Santa Ynez Family Photos by Amanda, of Amanda Jon Photography specializes in creating beautiful images of your family. She likes to get both, the traditional posed, looking at the camera shot, and images of connections between family members. After the session we meet again to pick your favorite images and choose artwork that fits your lifestyle. Here at AJP studio we have computer software that allows us to mockup images to scale on your own walls. That way, the guesswork is taken out of the process!

We love to help parents complete the look with one of a kind, handmade outfits from our client closet. AJP carries a variety of children’s clothing from brands like Zara, H & M, and more. There are also have some women’s clothing options available if desired.

Choosing a location

There are a few things to consider when choosing a location for your photo shoot. Such as, locations may look different deepening on the season; from where the sunsets, to the color of the trees and fields. Don’t worry though, I will have plenty of location suggestions for your session.

Something fun to consider if you’re expecting a baby, is our baby plan. We offer sessions from maternity-1 year. Our most popular package includes 4 sessions, maternity, newborn, sitter, and one year photos. We can incorporate family pictures in each of these sessions and alternate between outdoors and studio photos if you want.
