Solvang Newborn Photographer captures beautiful baby in portrait studio. In our Solvang Newborn studio we have all of the props, fabrics, handmade outfits, and backdrops parents need to create beautiful and timeless images. One of our favorite vendors is No. 2 Willow Lane. We take care of all of the prep work and planning, so all you have to do is tell us your preferences and show up to your appointment with baby! We find this really helps relieve the stress of a photoshoot and enables parents to relax and enjoy the session.

Our newborn session consists of an in-person (or Zoom) consultation, the session itself, and an ordering appointment. At the consult we go through all the session options we have, a tour of the studio, and all of the artwork and products we offer for purchase. The newborn session itself is 2-3 hours long. If young siblings are involved, we shoot those images at the beginning or end of the session. That way we get the most cooperation and end up with a happy toddler.

We also recommend that parents be in some of the images because babies are only little once! Of course we will focus on baby, but it is important for the parents to get behind the lens. This session will be baby’s first family portrait and having a professional take the image will ensure it will last a lifetime.

Our Studio

At our Solvang Newborn Studio, we have everything set up for a smooth newborn session. Amanda has photographed hundreds of newborns over the last 5 years and her experience is a real benefit for parents. Amanda does not only pose and safely handle the baby, she also soothes, comforts, feeds, and takes care of diaper changes if necessary. The session is a full service experience and by keeping parents relaxed we’ve found it helps baby relax. And a relaxed baby makes for a great session!
