I just love living in Santa Barbara County on the beautiful Central Coast, Ca. And what makes life even sweeter is getting to snuggle and photograph tiny little babies! Here in our Central Coast California studio, we have everything you need to document your baby’s first few weeks of life in a simple yet beautiful way. We have a variety of textured and smooth fabric backdrops that photograph beautifully, sweet handmade newborn outfits, and all the equipment needed to turn a photograph into an heirloom.

The Process

We suggest that you book your newborn session a few months before your due date. Once booked your due date is on our calendar. Then, once the baby is born, we pick a date for your session 10-14 days after the baby is born. Newborn photo sessions take 2-3 hours and take place in our Lompoc Valley Studio. It’s a beautiful drive from just about anywhere on the Central Coast, and the time in the car helps get baby into a deep sleep to get those dreamy baby shots. Then, about a week after your session, you come back and hand select your favorite images to purchase. From there, I help you decide what kind of artwork will work best with your space and lifestyle. We offer a variety of high quality, archival products from select professional labs. We can even mock up your artwork on your walls so you can visualize before you buy! All you have to do is take picture of your walls and email it to us!
