We’re so excited to share a recent Ventura County Maternity Photographer session by Amanda Jon Photography. This expecting couple chose maternity and newborn sessions to document this exciting time. We loved the pink tones that Mama chose in her maternity and newborn sessions. Outdoor maternity sessions are one of our favorite types to photograph! So much excitement and joy around this time, it is so special to get it documented to go along with the newborn photos. Sunset Session

Ventura County Maternity photographer, Amanda Jon, recommends shooting outdoor session 1-2 hours before sunset. This is the best time of day to catch that golden beautiful light in outdoor images. The best time to photograph your maternity session is between 28-34 weeks along. That way your bump is showing and you are not too tired to do a little bit of walking during your session. Amanda Jon Photography has a closet full of maternity gowns for clients to use or you are welcome to use your own. Newborn Studio Session

Once the baby is born, the newborn session takes place in our studio. We have everything that you need to create beautiful baby pictures. We have a variety of colors, outfits, headbands, props and more, all here in our studio. This family chose to enjoy their photos in our heirloom album, so we kept that in mind when styling both sessions.
