Ventura County Baby Photographer

Looking for a Ventura County baby photographer? So glad you’re here! There is nothing sweeter than being able to travel down the coast to Ventura County and surrounding areas & take pictures of sweet little babies! My sister and her husband just had their first baby girl last weekend. Hooray!!!! So, I made the trip down to Kaiser Permanente in Woodland Hills, just outside of Ventura County. I could barely contain my excitement as I packed for the trip on Friday morning. This is the first time I’ve left both boys for my than just one night. I feel so lucky that my husband was able to look after the boys so I could spend the time with my sister and witness my baby nieces birth.

My sister and I have a very close relationship. Since I was young, I always loved taking pictures of people. After school, I’d often use my sister as my “model” so I could play around with my camera. Any excuse to take pictures! I photographed her engagement & wedding, so it went without saying that I’d take pictures of her baby in the first few days of life.

Fresh 48 Hospital Session

Fresh 48 hospital sessions are such a beautiful way to document the first few days of your baby’s life. As a Ventura County baby photographer, it’s such a joy to travel to hospitals up and down the coast and photograph this special time. These sessions are about 1 hour long and I photograph the baby and his or her family in a emotional / documentary style. Welcoming a new baby to the world is truly a magical time. There is so much preparation beforehand, and so much anticipation as the mother and family await baby’s arrival. All those emotions come to a peak once baby is born and in the days after. That is my goal in these types of sessions. To capture the culmination of all the emotion that is wrapped up in the newest family member.
